About naming the hamster... I wanted to name him "peach" in Japanese. So I was thinking either "momo-ko" (momo = peach / ko = little/cute) or "pi-chi-ko" (pi-chi = peach / ko = little/cute). I'm sort of leaning toward pi-chi-ko because it sounds cuter, but to me it sort of sounds too much like peach and might make people think: "peachy-ko." Momo-ko would be okay too, I guess. Let me know what you think. Also if you find some other Japanese words for "peach," let me know. I'm determined to call him "peach" because that's what color he is and he's fuzzy like a peach. ^_^

I like them both. But I kinda like momo-ko better. I don't know why.

I think pichiko sounds better

I like pichiko best, but I see what you're saying. You could always mix the two and name him michiko... o.O;

Re: I think pichiko sounds better

I'm prolly going to call him momoko. It seems to fit. It doesn't sound too awkward if you put the accent on the second syllable. I had a tendancy to put the accent on the first.
